Newly re-developed, the Royal Court Hotel is set in 11 acres of landscaped gardens and parkland, offering the discerning client peaceful and tranquil surroundings in a rural setting, yet only 3 miles from Coventry City centre and 9 miles from the NEC. Whilst the hotel has the setting of a country house, it has the extensive facilities of a major city hotel with an international style reception and baronial restaurant in the original manor house. The cosy bar looks out on to rolling lawns and gardens. The reception bar overlooks the large indoor swimming pool.
The hotel is located near to the National Exhibition Centre, the International Conference Centre, Birmingham International Airport and the NAC at Stoneleigh Park. There is a mainline rail station in Coventry offering regular connections between London and other major cities. The main motorway network is reached from the nearby A45.
The manor house, built in 1894 as a private residence for William Hillman, the motor manufacturer, features en suite bedrooms, each individually furnished, and some overlooking the gardens. During the summer, events can be staged in the hotel's own marquee.

The restaurant is in the Baronial Hall of the Manor House. It offers French and British gourmet specialities in elegant surroundings.
There are three relaxing bars, each ideal for meeting colleagues. Enjoy a pre dinner cocktail overlooking the pool, or an after-dinner liqueur in the refined surroundings of the restaurant bar overlooking the lawns.
Leisure Facilities
The facilities in Spindles Health Club feature an 18m heated swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, sun showers and a gymnasium with state of the art equipment. Spindles also offers a wide selection of hair and beauty treatments available to the residents and members.
After using the facilities, why not relax in the Health Club Bar, where a selection of health foods and beverages are available. Spindles prides itself on a good atmosphere generated by regular social events offered to its members and residents.
Conference & Banqueting
Our flexible facilities are suitable for most requirements from the first floor Berkeley Room, with a capacity of 20 people, to the Windsor Suite, catering for up to 350, and the new Britannia Suite, which can accommodate up to 600 people. Our Event Management Team specialise in creating exciting events in and around the hotel incorporating its extensive grounds. To create that unique atmosphere our marquee can accommodate up to 200 people for that memorable summer occasion.
Driving Directions
From the North (M1)
Leave the M1 at junction 21 on to the M69. Take the M6 North to Junction 3 exiting onto the A444 towards Coventry.
Then follow 1.
From the North West (M6)
Leave the M6 at Junction 3 down to roundabout follow signs for A444 Coventry.
1. At the first roundabout turn right and take the first left slip road signposted Holbrooks. Go over the first set of traffic lights and at the T Junction turn left into Parkville Highway. At the second set of traffic lights turn right into Parkgate Road, follow this to the next T Junction and turn left into Bennetts Road South. At third set of traffic lights by Save Garage turn right into Sandpits Lane. Follow onto next T Junction turn right the Hotel is located 100 yards on the right hand side.
From the South West (M5/M42)
Leave the M42 at Junction 6 onto the A45 towards Coventry. Take the exit for Coventry A4114 (Just after Coventry Hill Hotel on the left handside).
Then follow 2.
From the South (M40)
Leave the M40 at Junction 15 onto the A46 towards Coventry. Then turn left onto the A45 towards Birmingham. Go straight across at the 1st roundabout, following the A45 towards Birmingham. Go straight across at a number traffic lights and straight across at the next roundabout. There are several more sets of traffic lights so continue straight across these remaining on the A45.
Then follow 2.
From the South (M1)
Leave the M1 at Junction 17 onto the M45/A45 to Coventry. Continue along the A45 towards Birmingham over several roundabouts and traffic lights. Take the exit signposted A4114 Allesley, Jaguar assembly Plant & Brownshill Green.
2. At the roundabout take the exit signposted City Centre, Allesley, Jaguar Assembly Plant & Brownshill Green. At the next roundabout take the 2nd Exit signposted Browns Lane Plant & Keresley. Follow onto next roundabout straight across (Jaguar on your left handside). At next roundabout straight across (Garden Centre on your right handside). Follow onto T Junction, at T Junction turn right Hotel is located 100 yards on your left.
