Built approximately 300 years ago, this spacious and gracious building has been carefully restored by the Mosedale family. It offers modern facilities whilst maintaining the character of the building. As a family-owned and run hotel, it is unusual for one of the family not to be available to deal personally with guest requirements. We place importance on friendly, personal service. A warm welcome is extended to business and holiday guests alike. We have ample off-road parking which is illuminated throughout the hours of darkness. For the added comfort and safety of our guests, we operate a no smoking policy throughout the hotel. Guests may choose to dine in our conservatory which overlooks the well-stocked, floodlit gardens or alternatively in the dining room which features an open log fire for those chilly winter evenings. An a la carte menu is provided at mid-day and evening from Monday to Saturday.
